An idea takes seed
When Priya Paul of Apeejay Surrendra Group approached us in 1989 to conduct public relations for the Park Hotel, little did either know that it would result in a firm that would become a benchmark for the PR industry. While the assignment was a success, it was also the true 'genesis' of an idea. It has been 22 years since then and Park Hotel is still a client.
The journey begins
After acing a professional course at the Frank Jefkins Institute of Public Relations in London, Prema came back to India to set up Genesis Public Relations on November 1, 1992. What began as a small, three-member firm soon grew into a professional, multi-location and multi-faceted agency.
A leap ahead
As one of the fastest growing economies in the world, India is a place no big global company can afford to ignore. It soon caught the attention of Burson-Marsteller, who came to India looking for a partner and it was at Genesis Public Relations they found their match. In 2006 Genesis Burson-Marsteller took shape.
