| Launch of Concito PR: Exclusive affiliate of Burson-Marsteller in Bangladesh |
On May 12, Cogito Marketing Solutions, Burson-Marsteller affiliate in Bangladesh, launched Concito PR, a new brand to exclusively focus on the public relations market in the country.
Concito PR is part of the Burson-Marsteller South Asia Network (BMSAN) which also includes exclusive partners in Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Nepal. BMSAN is co-ordinated through Genesis Burson-Marsteller and offers a unique model of central planning with local insights and expertise in execution by respective markets. This makes a compelling and a competitive proposition to companies with presence across these markets or those looking to enter these markets to get one integrated and seamless network.
Ashwani Singla, Chief Executive, Genesis Burson-Marsteller, was invited to Dhaka for the launch event. He conducted a workshop for the marketing and communication professionals of leading companies on the subject of ‘Corporate Reputation: the only sustainable advantage’.
This was followed by a media workshop with editors of leading publications and electronic news channels of Bangladesh by Ashok K. Bhattacharya, Managing Editor, Business Standard, India. The topic of the workshop was ‘how can public relations and media work together’.
