Sanjay AroraDirector- Government & Citizenship Division Sanjay comes with over 19 years of experience of working on multi-faceted projects across agency and corporations, with a strong marketing, sales and communication background. He leads the Government & Citizenship Division at Genesis Burson-Marsteller, working on marquee projects deployed by the government at the Centre and State levels. In his previous role as the practice chair for the Corporate & Financial vertical at GBM, he has led corporate reputation management campaigns for many of the firm’s Fortune 500 clients. He has led key client relationships across financial services, infrastructure, consulting, defence and aviation, travel, healthcare, loyalty programmes, manufacturing, automotive, energy, oil and gas and education. He has experience in providing strategic counsel on reputation management based on evidence-based campaigns for delivering results against measurable goals. His responsibilities also include providing leadership and guidance to the teams to ensure high quality of service delivery and customer satisfaction. Before joining Genesis Burson-Marsteller, Sanjay was with Tata BlueScope Steel Limited (a joint venture between Tata Steel and BlueScope Steel) where he worked for eight years across corporate and market communications, sales and marketing, and managing external and internal communications. Prior to this, Sanjay was with Zee Telefilms Limited in Mumbai as Associate Vice President, responsible for synergising all communication and promotional activities for Essel group of companies. His experience on the agency side includes a three-year stint with GBM in Mumbai managing a diverse portfolio of clients across corporate, service and FMCG industry. Sanjay started his career as a management trainee with Hughes Telecom (now Tata Teleservices). Sanjay is a post-graduate in business administration with specialisation in marketing from the Institute for Technology and Management, Navi Mumbai.
